Applications are now open for Leeds Poetry Festival 2025! The festival will take place from 1-10 August 2025.

Applications are accepted for:

• Individual Performers: for individuals looking to performing for 15 minutes or longer.
• Groups: wo or more poets, with a common thread or theme.
• Events & Workshops: for anyone looking to organise an event, activity, or run a workshop.
• Hosts: for people interested in hosting an event, panel, or interview one of the poets.

There are also opportunities to volunteer during the event, for example to help out with events, ticket sales, work on the door, and help coordinate at our venues.

You are more than welcome to fill in different applications but please don’t submit the same application more than once, and make sure that each event you pitch is a different event and not the same in different formats. For example, if you want a workshop to accompany your event, please only fill out one Events & Workshops application.
