Each month on the second Wednesday of the month, RJ Hunter is hosting an incredible night of poetry supported by the Speakeasy House Band.

Ben Macpherson is a writer and performer working across poetry, theatre and comedy. His work blends the plain, profound and profane into a playful set that makes him a recurring crowd pleaser. His credits include BBC Radio 2, 4 extra and local stations and he has performed at dozens of festivals across the UK. He’s a director of Nottingham Poetry Festival and the GOBs collective. Practised Show-off, Ben is a verbal tour-de-force who can make you laugh then break your heart.
