Join Rutherglen-raised Michael Mullen for an hour of poetry from acclaimed and raw collection Goonie, which revels on growing up in the West coast of Scotland. Michael Mullen is Rutherglen-raised award-winning queer poet who writes in both Scots and English.

The first ever Rutherglen Book Festival is a collaboration between Rutherglen 900 and South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture Libraries. All events are ticketed but free of charge.

We gratefully acknowledge principal sponsor Specsavers Rutherglen for their invaluable support for this event.
