DykeHouse Press is launching their new anthology, The Rush, edited by Parel Joy and Luke Worthy, at the House Arts Collective on the 9th of October. The Rush is an anthology of heady queer poems that explore impulsive decisions, aching desires, blurry nights out and brief encounters. The anthology goes everywhere, from the bar to the train and from the club to the Shire, offering new queer writing from across the international English-speaking poetry scene.

To celebrate the publication of The Rush, we welcome poets based in Scotland to read their work at The House. Readers include Janette Ayachi, Stuart Rawlinson, India Lawrence Glover, Thomas Stewart, Meredith MacLeod Davidson, Luke Worthy and Parel Joy. Texture Texture (Ian Macartney) will play a set of electronic music.
