MAKING PIES - 6 workshops for the closet poet

The work is in part focused on techniques, from rhythm and rhyming, to alliteration and dissonance. At the same time, it is just as much about building confidence and the cohesion of the:

• Physical,
• Intellectual,
• Emotional, and
• Spiritual,...hence the PIES.

Participants need only bring themselves, but if you have work, whether complete or in progress, please have it with you.

City of Poets promotes everyone as a poet, and considers poetry, like music, to be a unique individual expression, with healing power for individuals and beyond.

The workshops begin on Sunday 18th October 2026 and runs weekly six times until 22nd November 2026.

Classes usually run for over an hour, but complete in under 90 minutes.

• 18th October: 11am - 12.30pm
• 25th October: 11am - 12.30pm
• 1st November: 11am - 12.30pm
• 8th November: 11am - 12.30pm
• 15th November: 11am - 12.30pm
• 22nd November: 11am - 12.30pm

There are only two places left on this course. So it is a possibility.
