AFK#12: A SPAM Press Reading Series

SPAM's free reading series, AWAY FROM KEYBOARD (AFK), returns to Glasgow for October! This event features a special Californian twist, with readers hailing from as far as the Bay Area, Margate and Edinburgh (we're going bicoastal, in a sense).

This event will feature a mixture of words and sounds. There will be a limited edition zine available, featuring work by our performers.

MONDAY 26th October 2026 7-9.30pm (doors at 6.30pm), The Doublet, Glasgow.

Entry is FREE with donations for the zine towards Target Ovarian Cancer (£2 or more suggested donation).

We recommend you arrive from 6:30pm to secure the best seats, but you are more than welcome to drop in and out throughout the evening (there will be two breaks).

A plea! Ticketing is limited to ensure we comply with venue capacity. Please release your ticket on Eventbrite if you can no longer make it, so somebody else can.
