Scottish Working Class Network & Kelvingrove Writers Writing Workshops
BAaD - Barras Art & Design 54 Calton Entry, Glasgow
Kelvingrove Writers are collaborating with the Scottish Working Class Network to deliver a brand new series of creative writing workshops!
The workshops will take place on the last Thursday of each month for the next six months and will be held at Strange Studio in the Barras - Strange Field’s Strange Studio is generously funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund! Our space is wheelchair-accessible and has an accessible toilet. If you have any specific access requirements or concerns please do get in touch!
Each workshop will have a different theme and seek to generate a variety of exciting creative responses - more details on the theme revealed closer to the time (v sexy and mysterious).
You can come along to as many workshops as you want, if you can only make one or two - great! If you can come to all six - even better! In fact, we want to build towards a final showcase of our work at the end of the six month schedule, so we recommend more regular attendance for maximum benefits.
These workshops will be a great opportunity for writers (particularly low-income and working class writers) to develop their craft, expand their portfolio of work, and connect with a lovely local network of writers.
