Vicki Husband will launch her latest poetry book Glasgoscopy  on 12th November with readings from the book and conversation with Dr. Gillean McDougall. The event will take place at The Alchemy Experiment, Byres Road, G12 8TS at 7pm. Free zine-poster with every book sale! 

In Glasgoscopy a community health professional takes the pulse of North West Glasgow, observes connections and disconnections between city and citizen, examines how language, physical and social environments affect health. Told through a series of prose poems – a fictionalised collage of experience, and lyrical reflections on over twenty years of being a brief guest in so many lives.
