The Poetry Society is delighted to present the launch readings for the Winter 2025 issue of The Poetry Review, edited by Wayne Holloway-Smith, with guest readers:
Imogen Cassels is the author of Silk Work (Prototype, 2025). A new pamphlet, Peach machine, is available from The Last Books.
Rachel Long’s debut collection, My Darling from the Lions (Picador, U.K / Tin House, US) was published in 2020. She is currently working on her forthcoming second collection.
Jean Sprackland’s forthcoming Goyle, Chert, Mire is a book-length sequence about place, time, illness and recovery, and will be published by Cape in April 2026.
Eric Yip is from Hong Kong. He has won the National Poetry Competition and an Eric Gregory Award from the Society of Authors.
