We work from prompts, and follow this with peer reviews and feedback.
Paisley is the location, but you do not need to have a connection with Paisley, or be resident there, to attend.
ALL WRITERS ARE WELCOME!
Paisley Writers Group meets three times a month as follows:
- First Tuesday of the month at the Methodist Church Halls at 6.30pm, to 8.30pm.
- Third Wednesday of the month at the Methodist Church Halls
- Fourth Tuesday of the month at Paisley Central Library at 6.00pm, to 8pm,
Glasgow is within 2 miles along Paisley Rd West of the Methodists Central Halls and Paisley Central Library.
Note on Methodist Church Halls: use the side entrance, Smithhills Street, on corner beside the Rainbow Turtle Fair Trade shop. RING THE BELL on the white door.
£3 is collected at every Meeting for tea and coffee supplies, to cover the cost of the rent for Methodists Central Halls, plus saving to create our first ANTHOLOGY,
ALTHOUGH the date for publication has been postponed, until Further Notice... editing is a slower process than at first anticipated, but it will eventually be published, in 2026. Get in touch via email if you want to find out how to submit to the anthology.
Both venues are wheelchair accessible, with lifts, as well as toilets in the Central Library and in the Methodist Halls.
If you want to attend or want any further information email paisleywriters24@yahoo.com
