Sarah Howe is a Hong Kong-born poet, poet and editor. Her first book, Loop of Jade (Chatto & Windus, 2015), won the T.S. Eliot Prize and The Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year Award. Her second collection, Foretokens (Chatto & Windus, 2025) is a PBS Choice and shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize. Previous honours include a Hawthornden Fellowship and the Harper-Wood Studentship for English Poetry, as well as fellowships from Harvard University’s Radcliffe Institute and the Civitella Ranieri Foundation. She is an Honorary Visiting Professor at the University of Liverpool and the Poetry Editor at Chatto & Windus.

Sarah will be joined by winners of the 2025 Cheltenham Poetry Festival Poetry Competition. Details to be confirmed.

The event will include an open mic. To book a slot (1 poem lasting not more than 2 minutes), please buy an open mic ticket - you do not need to buy a general admission ticket as well. When the open mic tickets have sold out, we will start a reserve lis.
