From Glasgow to Saturn: Disrupted States

January 28March 1

Submit your work for consideration for the 53rd issue of From Glasgow to Saturn, the literary journal at the University of Glasgow. The theme for this issue is ‘Disrupted States’.

The notion of “Disrupted States” can apply to many things; it could be a reflection of feeling neither here nor there, a protest of something looming, an ode to a time in your life that has ended unfinished or unexpectedly, or even an experiment with form where you disrupt the structure of your writing itself. We want submissions which are hectic, challenging, and thought-provoking! We also want submissions which linger between states, wonder on possibilities, and look toward change.

Before submitting please ensure you have read and adhered to our submission guidelines.
Any present or past student or staff member of the University of Glasgow or the Glasgow School of Art may submit to From Glasgow to Saturn. We welcome prose, poetry, creative nonfiction, hybrid forms and visual art.
The s window have been extended to 1 March!
If you’d like to submit work in more than one category (e.g. a prose short story and two poems), please select the ‘Other’ category in the relevant part of this document, and then describe to us below the nature of your submissions. If you have any trouble submitting your work to this form, shoot us an email at fromglasgowtosaturnjournal@gmail.com before the submission deadline.
Visit the journal’s Instagram to find out more.
