The Writers of Colour Poetry Writing Group is Back!
Join us from February-June 2026 for our Writers of Colour writing group!
Each session is led by poet and former Edinburgh Makar, Hannah Lavery (@lavery.hannah)!⁠
The course is fully hybrid, with all workshops conducted simultaneously in person and online.
Our in-person venue is the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at the University of Edinburgh.⁠
⁠The suggested registration fee for the course is £50–£100 (£10- £20 per workshop).⁠

This course is for Black writers and writers of colour based in Scotland.⁠

• 23rd April, 12:00pm – 1:30pm (to allow for Easter holidays)
