Glasgow Zine Library is bringing together zine makers, distributors, librarians, artists, and activists for a focused conversation on the role of zines in climate justice—and we’d love for you to join us.
Call for Participants: DISRUPT! ADAPT! HEAL! Climate Zines Micro Summit
Are you passionate about zines, climate justice and sustainability? Are you creating, thinking, or organising around these themes?
We’re bringing together zine makers, distributors, librarians, artists, and activists for a focused conversation on the role of zines in climate justice—and we’d love for you to join us.
At the DISRUPT! ADAPT! HEAL! Climate Zines Micro Summit, we’ll collectively explore:
- Sustainable practices in zine making
- The role of zines in building climate justice movements
- How DIY knowledge-sharing through zines can support climate adaptation and responses to climate related crises
This is a 3-hour online event, and all participants will receive a £50 honorarium for their time and contributions.
The event will take place week commencing 2nd June based on the availability of participants. You can share your availability below.
Our goal?
To collaboratively develop a set of guiding principles for zine making for climate justice. These principles will be published in a new zine—created with your input—that you’ll receive in both print and digital formats to share with your networks and communities.
If this resonates with your work or interests—we’d love to hear from you.
