Dedicated to publishing experimental poetry and prose KRUPSKAYA is structured as a collective body comprised of writer-editors who have equal responsibility for the reading, selection, editing, and support of the books that are produced. The collective works toward a consensus.

Krupskaya Books welcomes manuscripts beginning August 1 through August 31st, 2025.

Continuing our tradition of publishing mixed-genre, experimental, queer works, we invite full-length manuscripts of all kinds—from narrative prose to lyric verse to hybrid writing that incorporates visual elements, scholarly inquiry, or performative approaches. ☀️
While we’ve never charged a submission fee, we do ask that prospective authors familiarize themselves with our catalog. For this reading period, we ask that you purchase or borrow a Krupskaya title before sending us your manuscript. 🌳
To participate in the open call, please email your manuscript to krupskayabooks@gmail.com by August 31st. Brief cover letters introducing your manuscript and situating your work in relation to other writers or artists are welcome but not required.
