Volume Three of our mini-journal series 'Trans Tongues' is open for submissions. Each volume features the work of trans and/ or non-binary writers, with artwork by trans and/ or non-binary visual artists featured on the front and back covers.

GENERAL SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES

Trans Tongues accepts written and visual art submissions by trans and/ or non-binary artists. Please only submit if you identify as trans and/ or non-binary.

We DO accept simultaneous submissions (although please let us know immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere). We will let artists know if they have been accepted by early September. We may work editorially with you.

We run t'ART on a voluntary basis and don't currently have the funds to pay contributors but all contributors will receive a physical copy of the journal, and £1 from each full price journal sale is donated towards gender affirming surgery funds.

Please ensure the file you submit is clearly labelled with your name and the title/s of the work.

POETRY SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

You can submit up to two poems to each volume. The journal will be an A5 portrait publication so you should consider this if your poem involves complex formatting. Please send both poems in a single document, and ensure the file you submit is clearly labelled with your name and the title/s of the work. Please note, we DON'T accept previously published work (including work published on social media or blogs).
