Poetry contributions
There are normally two submissions windows a year for poetry, the first week of the month of December and the last week of the month of June.
We do not consider poetry submissions from anyone outside those times.
Writers wishing to send work should familiarise themselves with PN Review. Verse submissions should generally not exceed five pages (verse in English or translation). Copies of the original texts should accompany translations where possible. We discourage simultaneous submissions.
We are not currently interested in short stories, children's prose/poetry, non-poetry-related work (academic, biography etc.).
Response time
We cannot promise a response time: the enormously increased volume of submissions to PN Review is heartening, but our team is small, and there are sometimes delays. We regret this. We try to respond within twelve weeks.
The Editors' decisions are final.
