After almost 2 years of events, we are going to be launching a zine that celebrates poetry + people. The zine will feature submissions from our community, open to all. So if you’ve got a poem or two knocking about, please read on 😍

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 11.59pm, 16th Sep 2026

🚨Guidelines (please read carefully):

Send poems to testing.ground.contact@gmail.com
with subject line ‘Zine Submission’ before 16th September

Within your submitted document with your poem(s), please include your full name and location (city/town). E.g. ‘John Smith, Milton Keynes’

We’d like to photograph poets to accompany their poem in the zine, meaning poets must be based in or within easy reach of London.

Please only 1-2 poems per submission. If you send more, we will only read the first two.

Microsoft Word or PDF format only please.

Font size should be 12. Each poem submitted should not exceed over two A4 pages.

Submissions will be reviewed and selected on a rolling basis during the submission window. It is advised you submit as soon as you can within this timeframe. Successful submissions will be notified via email.

Poems should be on the theme of people. This can be open to the writer’s interpretation. Have fun!
