Flat Dinners is an artist collective based across Edinburgh and Glasgow. We are creating a collaborative zine themed around mess, procrastination, clutter and incomplete projects.

We are looking for unfinished work, notes scribbled down, doodles, drawings on scraps of paper or receipts, blurry photos, things you might have discarded, abandoned ideas, mistakes, sketches, first drafts. You don’t have to be a practising artist to take part, we encourage anyone to submit!

We also welcome stories, poems or illustrations in response to the theme.

Every contributor will be provided with a free digital copy and a physical copy at the launch party! As Flat Dinners is volunteer-led this is an unpaid opportunity.

Fill out the google doc form Flat Dinners Open Call to submit work.

Contact us here or at the email below with any questions.

Submissions close 15th October.

We can’t wait to hear from you!
