Clyde Bioregion Residency Programme
Place and Community engaged opportunities thanks to Culture Collective Funding has enabled this pilot for residencies on the islands of Arran and Cumbrae in the Clyde.
We are looking for artists and creatives, from all disciplines, to bring their practice to our island communities and places. By utilising our Bioregion Compass that was co-curated with the a view to see participative and inter-disciplinary practice embedded on the island. Themes like Stories, Celebration, Brave Spaces, Community. There is also scope to have a shadow residency with a local creative young person built into the project.
We have strong links on Arran with Drumadoon Estate and the sites with the opportunity to be situated fully there for an extended time. Looking back into time but also projecting into the future. Archaeology Scotland are also able to provide support and orientation locally but also nationally.
We require artists to be disclosed and to work within the relevant rates of pay set out by the Scottish Artists Union.
