Gather Zine is designed as a gathering place for storytelling, poetry, conversation and reflection.

Submissions are now open for our third issue of Gather 🌿
Theme: Resistance
Closing date: 29th June 2025

What does resistance mean to you? What is an act of resistance? What do you resist - both out there in the world and inside your own self? Does resistance lie in protest, democratic process, creation, art, love, violence, respect, inner work, activism, politics? Is resistance positive or negative, to be embraced or worked through? What do you think of when you hear the word? We’re looking for poems, short stories, flash fiction, non-fiction, memoir, musings, songs… anything you would like to share with us on the theme of resistance - we think this will be a juicy one!

Once we’ve curated our selection they will be printed in a little book, available to buy in the UK for a donation amount. Any profit we make will go back into the next zine 🌱

- File type: docx, PDF
- Font: Size 12, double line spaced
- Word limit: 800
- Line limit (poetry): 60

You’re welcome to submit more than one piece of work, and we are happy to accept multiple submissions.
