Ghost Light Lit is a US-based literary journal for those who need a light ​in the darkness.

Submissions for Issue #4: of myths & monsters are open from June 1-30, 2025. 

What are we looking for?

Ghost Light Lit publishes fiction (less than 2,000 words), creative non-fiction, prose, poetry, short screenplays, and monologues. We do ask that if your piece has a trigger warning that you include that warning in your submission. 

Where and how to submit?

All submission should be sent to ghostlightlit@gmail.com. Please send your piece as a PDF or word document. Maximum of 2 pieces submitted at a time. Please also include a third person bio with your submission. 

Money & Rights

We are not currently a paying journal, but we hope to be able to change that in the future! You retain all rights to your work. The only thing we ask that the author does not republish the work again within two months of the issue being published.
