The Hampden Collection is a group of volunteers, who tell the story of football through poetry, art, literature and research.

Originally set up in 2017, it is designed to preserve and promote Scotland’s pioneering footballing history through the magnificent story of the three Hampden Parks and all who played on them.

The Hampden Collection is the world home of football poetry! The website showcases more than 200 poems, submitted directly to us and collated by our poets.

Submissions are open specifically for poetry relating to women's football.

Although, men's football poetry is also accepted.

There is no official deadline for submissions. Poems will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

The Hampden Collection publishes poetry is English, Scots and Gaelic.
