UofG Creative Writing Anthology
University of Glasgow’s Creative Writing Programme is turning 30! And to celebrate the wealth of literary talent associated with the programme in that time, we are launching a very special Anthology and Festival (details of festival released soon!)
Submissions are open to students and staff current and former of the Creative Writing Programme at UoG. So as long as you have attended the course whether that’s undergrad or post grad taught or doctorate courses you can submit! Staff current and former are also welcome to submit work!
Submission criteria
• Send your name and time frame of attendance of course in the body of the email
• Poetry - no more than 3 pieces of poetry per person.
• Prose- fiction, non fiction and creative non fiction accepted.
• Prose- no more than 5 pages - if the work is part of a bigger piece please state this and credit the work.
• Please send your work in a word document.
• Previously published work is accepted but you must credit where it has been published. (This can be within the word document)
• If your work is part of a larger text (novel, essay) and extends the 5 pages please only send the portion of the text you’d like to have published.
• Multiple formats per person are acceptable but only one piece per medium (1 poem, 1 prose etc)
Please email your submission to AnthologyCW@gmail.com with the subject heading CW_name_ poetry or prose or which ever format you choose.
The team are very excited to read your work and we will get back to you if you have been accepted. We will try and get back to everyone but we are a small team of volunteers so please be patient.
