Fried Egg Magazine is a queer and trans digital publication. Founded in 2025, we’re a new place for writing, art, and anything that can be hosted in a magazine!

We’re accepting writing of all genres, art of all forms, and anything static we can fit on a page (or five).

Please note: we do not accept submissions created, edited, or aided by AI in any way. Otherwise, we welcome submissions from queer and trans people of all backgrounds! Anything that can be published in PDF form is fair game, but please keep in mind submission lengths- we unfortunately cannot accept anything longer than 5 A5 pages! This is a free publication, so sadly, we cannot offer any payment at this time. We look forward to hearing from you!

The kitchen is a place to gather, to eat, to take care of ourselves and others. the food we share bridges cultures, friendships, and generations.

this issue of fried egg is all about that connection- about the food we eat or share and where we share it.

we’re looking for anything to do with food, or kitchens, or the connections they bring us, whether that’s to others, your culture, your city, anything!

recipes, essays, stories, poems, art, photos, collage, it’s all welcome here.
