Art Riot Press is an independent press, launching in June 2026, rooted in Scotland, publishing bold poetry, short prose, and visual art.

We platform work that challenges, questions, disrupts, and repairs.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

o Poetry (up to 3 poems (max 40 lines each, any style or form)
o Short prose (up to 2000 words, flash fiction and hybrid forms welcome)
o Visual art (up to 5 pieces - high-res JPEG or PNG files, include title, medium, dimensions)
o Previously unpublished work only.
o Absolutely no AI generated work.

THEME: ‘Beginnings’ – interpret freely

We particularly welcome:

• Working-class voices
• Queer and intersectional feminist perspectives
• Disabled voices
• Migrant/BPoc perspectives
• Artists rooted in Scotland
• Experimental and hybrid forms
