Welcome to Agora Press! We are looking for contributors to submit to the first edition of our publication.

This is a platform to showcase local emerging artists, creatives and writers - providing them a space to build a portfolio and have a piece of their work published. Whether you're a writer, an illustrator, photographer, or any other type of creative practitioner, we'd love to hear from you!

Issue One Theme: What Are These Women On About?

This theme references the reaction had to all the things that are written off as just 'chick flicks', 'girly hobbies', 'women's work' or 'feminism going too far'. We want to use this edition to hear about women's passions, hobbies, projects and goings on in and around Scotland's central belt. Catch our drift?

If you have a piece of work that fits with the theme, or an idea you would like to pitch, please fill out the form below. Works in progress are also welcome (please bear in mind works would need to be completed by June 6th latest).

LOOKING FOR:
- Essays/opinion pieces (focus on socio-political & pop-culture)
- Illustrations
- Photography
- Comics/Political Cartoons
- Poetry or short form fiction

This is a unpaid opportunity, however it is free to submit and you will receive a complementary digital copy of the final magazine!
